SEVA WORKSHOPS womb work wild women

WORKSHOPS:

vital woman circle: Lean in - with love

In each Vital Woman Circle we explore how movement, breath & mindfulness hold the power to optimize our pelvic bowl. Our pelvic bowl is the seat of our Vital Force, our Creatrix power & Divine Feminine source.

We will cover brief anatomy and physiology of the pelvic bowl, yoga for toning, strengthening & relaxing the pelvic muscles, specific breathing and core engagement techniques, guided meditation, sensual primal movement & conscious community connection.

Each Vital Woman Circle offers 5 elements of engagement:

Sept 30th 2023 6:00-8:00pm

*This will be the last Vital Woman Circle of 2023. We will explore the theme of leaning in with love. Leaning into surrender, receptivity, desire & exploring our edges. Each circle is unique with a similar framework. This one will have more emphasis on primal sensual movement, pelvic bowl breathing, and meditative experience. Click the ‘Save Your Spot’ button below for more info on the registration page.

1. Connection, listening, sharing, honoring our voice:
Each circle starts with a themed check-in, allowing you to be seen, heard, and connect with your authentic voice in a conscious community. This is always optional, and always sacred. What is discussed in these circles remains private.

2. Meditation & Breathwork:
You will be guided through a meditation centered around returning to your body, connecting with your womb space, pelvic bowl, yoni, primal intuition & innate intelligence. Some days the breathwork will be soft & gentle, other times we will tap into more vital force with stronger breathwork techniques.

3. Pelvic Bowl Resiliency Training (aka Yoga for the Pelvic Bowl):
Just like all the other skeletal muscles in the body, the muscles in the pelvic bowl require training to become strong and resilient. A healthy pelvic bowl is able to adapt and respond to any situation in real time, it is strong when we need strength and stability, and is also able to relax and soften. Pelvic Bowl Yoga combines intentional breath, focused pelvic muscle contraction and relaxation, core stability training, all in a variety of yoga postures and postures that mimic real-life scenarios. This style of yoga is excellent for preparing for pregnancy, while pregnant and postpartum recovery, and ANY stage of a woman’s life. A resilient, vital pelvic bowl will improve your strength, stability, confidence in movement, increase sexual satisfaction, and decrease urinary leakage, uterine prolapse, pelvic pain, and more!

4. Embodiment or Relational Engagement:
-Embodiment is an invitation to become increasingly present in your body. The process of awakening your wild feminine, and moving in ways that feel vital, pleasureful, opening, sensual, playful. Movement in the form of yoga, dance and more to sensitize and enliven your body’s senses.
-Conscious relational engagement is a practice of exploring your personal expression of your wild, vital feminine through partnered movement, dialogue, or exercises. This may be a time for deep reflection with guided journal prompts, or it may be simply in the form of socializing and laughter.

5. Closing Circle:
Each circle ends with a grounding ritual to connect, inspire and support each other in our vital woman journey.

Awakening your feminine through intimacy & pleasure

September 14th 2022 6-8pm

In collaboration with SEVA Community

Hosted By: V-Metrics: The Health Creation Lab

The past few years have magnified a global crisis… We as a collective are facing a “Global Intimacy Disorder” and cure is a radical love story.

When we choose to use crisis as an evolutionary driver, it becomes a doorway to opportunity, an invitation to something greater. This radical shift to love begins with our own personal perceptions, our relationship with intimacy, self-compassion and compassion for others, feeling seen and truly seeing others, connecting through a shared vision of the immense beauty, love, and hope in the world, and valuing a collective purpose.

What if our purpose is to open our eyes and hearts to witness the beauty of the world, feel and connect with the beauty surrounding us, the beauty in each of our yearning hearts and souls, and learn to simply love and be loved?

Are you drawn to create a more beautiful world?

Are you willing to play a leading role in the most incredible, heart expanding, globally healing, ecstatic love story you could ever imagine?

Dr. Aspen has always found great joy in exploring athletics, from team sports to mountain sports and many endeavours in-between, she has found the challenge, vigor and exhilaration immensely fulfilling. As she began to explore the world of yoga, she fell in love with the integration of movement, breathe, rhythm and flow. For her, yoga is all about being present, aware and open to learning what her body-mind has to teach her.

She believes her greatest gift as a yoga teacher, has been to hold space for others to cultivate more presence, harmony and deep gratitude on and off the mat. Her passion to support others in creating new levels of health and vitality combine the best of yoga, breathwork, intuitive primal movement, strength training, and pelvic floor resiliency training.

Movement and breath create opportunities for us to foster a deeper connection with our primal nature and access more of our innate vitality.

regenerative yoga

Regenerative Exercise Activity is a term coined by us at V-Metrics: The Health Creation Lab. Regenerative Yoga combines the principles of Regenerative Exercise into a fluid vinyasa style sequence aimed to stimulate adaptive catabolic and anabolic responses that enhance our energy, cardio-respiratory, metabolic efficiency and our ability to regenerate and strengthen our skeletal muscles, cells, tissues, and organ systems. This style of movement has been developed to promote vitality, prevent sarcopenia and minimize the inroads of aging. This experience includes holding strong poses for 1-2mins, core exercises and 30s higher intensity intervals. A practice sure to leave you feeling vital!

Restorative yoga

Restorative Exercise Activity is a term coined by us at V-Metrics: The Health Creation Lab. Restorative yoga combines the principles of Restorative Exercise into a sequence of yoga postures similar to Yin Yoga. Restorative Exercise is any physical activity we do because it feels good during and immediately following it, AND it has health benefits with no downside or collateral damage. This experience includes forms of breath work to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, gentle movement, holding restorative yoga postures for 3-5 mins, and a guided or silent mediation. This form of movement is intended to break up physical and mental-emotional stress patterns in the body-mind. A practice certain to optimize your restoration and relaxation!

primal yoga

Primal yoga is meditation in motion. This style of yoga offers the opportunity to elevate vitality and energy, ground deeply, build strength and stability, and awaken your primal nature. In this class we tap into the present moment, use breath to lead movement, engage free flowing, fluid movement, practice listening to our body-mind, and moving intuitively. This allows us to tune out of the thinking brain, and tap into the feeling brain. This experience includes strong, strengthening postures, creative vinyasa style sequencing, building core stability, and fluid movements, with less focus on form, more focus on breathing and feeling. We can access powerful emotion through motion, join the movement!

pelvic bowl yoga

Just like all the other skeletal muscles in the body, the pelvic bowl requires training to become strong and resilient. A healthy pelvic bowl is able to adapt and respond to any situation in real time, it is strong when we need strength and stability, and it’s able to relax and soften when needed. Pelvic Bowl Yoga combines intentional breath, focused pelvic floor muscle contraction and relaxation, core stability training, all in a variety of yoga postures that mimic real-life scenarios. This style of yoga is excellent for preparing for pregnancy, while pregnant and postpartum recovery, and ANY stage of a woman’s life. Although men also have a pelvic bowl that requires the same resilient nature, this style of yoga is designed specifically for a female anatomy (See Men’s Health for specific pelvic recommendations). A resilient, vital, embodied pelvis will improve your strength, stability, confidence in movement, increase sexual satisfaction, and decrease urinary leakage, risk of prolapse, pelvic pain, and more!
